The Samsung Galaxy A17 5G is the latest edition of the world's best-selling Android series — released August 2025 with meaningful upgrades over the A16. It's slimmer at 7.5mm, lighter at 192g, and features a redesigned Linear Grouped Camera with Key Island 2.0 — a cleaner, more premium look with the cameras and fingerprint scanner grouped together in one refined module.

The biggest camera upgrade is OIS — Optical Image Stabilisation — added to the 50MP f/1.8 main camera for the first time on an A1x device.
