The Lenovo IdeaPad 5 2-in-1 16IRU9 (83DU004VUS) — 2024 model — is a 360° convertible laptop powered by the Intel Core 5 120U (Series 1 Meteor Lake, 10-core 2P+8E, 12-thread, up to 5.0GHz, 12MB cache). (cite index="32-1">The 16IRU9 series offers Intel Core 5 120U and Core 7 150U processors delivering a blend of efficiency and power, complemented by integrated Intel Graphics for smooth handling of everyday tasks. The hybrid 2P+8E core layout balances performance on demanding tasks (Performance cores) and energy efficiency on background tasks (Efficient cores) — ideal for all-day productivity use.
The 16" WUXGA IPS touchscreen (1920×1200, 60Hz, 300 nits, 16:10, 10-point multi-touch) covers the full 360° convertible range — laptop, tent, stand, and tablet modes. (cite index="32-1">The display is certified by TÜV for low blue light, making it easier on the eyes during prolonged use. The 45% NTSC colour gamut means this display is not suitable for accurate colour work such as photo editing or graphic design — but for documents, video streaming, web browsing, and productivity it is clear and comfortable. The 16:10 aspect ratio adds usable vertical screen real estate over 16:9 panels.
16GB LPDDR5X-5200 dual-channel RAM — soldered to the motherboard and non-upgradeable, confirmed on Lenovo's official PSREF page for this MTM. The 512GB M.2 2242 PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD is user-replaceable; the slot supports up to 1TB M.2 2242 drives. The full-size backlit keyboard with numpad is a standout inclusion on a convertible — useful for spreadsheets and data entry. Fingerprint reader for Windows Hello. 1080p FHD webcam with a physical privacy shutter. Dolby Audio stereo speakers. Compatible with the optional Lenovo Digital Pen 2 for annotation in tablet mode.
(cite index="32-1">The 57Wh battery is paired with a 65W USB-C power adapter — any USB-C PD charger at 65W works, no proprietary connector required. Battery life runs 8–10 hours on general productivity workloads. Port layout: 2× USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, 2× USB-C (one with DisplayPort, one for charging), HDMI, microSD card reader, 3.5mm headphone/mic combo. Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3. Windows 11 Home. Luna Grey. 356×255×18.4mm · 1.90kg. Available refurbished (83DU004VUS) at Dream Technologies T&T.
