iPhone 18 Pro

The Apple iPhone 18 Pro — announced September 9, 2026 alongside the Pro Max, available September 18 — is the compact option in Apple's 2026 Pro lineup. The iPhone 18 Pro is the premium model for shoppers who want Pro features in a smaller size than the Pro Max — a strong fit if you want a powerful iPhone that's easier to hold, carry, and use with one hand. At 211g and 6.3 inches, it's meaningfully lighter and more pocketable than the 249g, 6.9" Pro Max, while sharing every major feature: same chip, same camera system, same modem, same colours, same storage options.

The camera is identical to the Pro Max. The rear camera system features 48MP Fusion cameras — the Main with variable aperture (ƒ/1.48–ƒ/4.0), a Fusion Ultrawide, and a Fusion Telephoto — a world first for any smartphone. The six-blade mechanical aperture physically adjusts between four positions depending on lighting and depth of field, delivering 50% better low-light performance at the widest setting. Manual Pro controls add aperture, shutter speed, white balance, and histogram for professional-level shooting. 4K@120fps ProRes video. Cinematic effects can now be applied after capture at up to 60fps.

Inside is the A20 Pro — Apple's first iPhone chip built on a 2nm process, delivering better thermal management and a noticeable jump in everyday speed, working alongside 12GB of RAM. The A20 Pro has a 6-core CPU, 7-core GPU, and a dual 16-core Neural Engine. Up to 40% better sustained performance vs iPhone 17 Pro — most impactful in gaming, video export, and on-device AI tasks. The Apple C2 modem is Apple-designed, replacing Qualcomm — 15% lower energy, AI-powered connection management, mmWave 5G in the US.

Battery life sees a significant boost — Apple rates the iPhone 18 Pro for up to 36 hours of continuous video playback on a single charge, matching the endurance we saw on last year's iPhone 17 Pro Max. That's a major jump for a 6.3" form factor — the 18 Pro's 4056mAh battery, A20 Pro efficiency, and C2 modem combine for a generational battery improvement. For wireless charging, the phone supports 25W MagSafe speeds alongside reverse wired charging to top up smaller accessories. A charging brick is not included in the box.

The display is 6.3" Super Retina XDR with ProMotion, Always-On display, and a redesigned, smaller Dynamic Island that can show up to three Live Activities at once. iOS 27 with Apple Intelligence ships out of the box. Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, NFC, UWB, Thread, Satellite SOS. IP68. Grade 4 Titanium chassis. eSIM only — no physical SIM tray. 163.1×77.6×8.8mm · 211g. Available in Burgundy, Glacier, Silver, and Black in 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB at Dream Technologies T&T.
