The Google Pixel 10a launched March 5, 2026 — announced February 18, making it the earliest-ever launch of a Pixel A-series phone. It keeps the same starting price as the Pixel 9a while delivering a brighter display, faster wired charging, wireless charging for the first time on a Pixel A-series, Satellite SOS connectivity, stronger Gorilla Glass 7i, and a completely flat camera design. The result is the most refined Pixel A ever made.
The most talked-about design change is the completely flat camera bar — no bump, no protrusion. The Pixel 9a's module protruded a fraction of a millimetre; the 10a is truly flush. Combined with 10% thinner bezels and the same 6.3" footprint, it's the most premium-looking Pixel A yet. The display now peaks at 3000 nits — 11% brighter than the Pixel 9a — and Gorilla Glass 7i replaces the 9a's Gorilla Glass 3 for significantly better scratch resistance.
Charging gets a meaningful double upgrade — 30W wired (up from 23W, hitting 50% in 30 minutes with a compatible 45W Google charger) and 10W wireless charging — the first time wireless charging has appeared on a Pixel A-series phone. The 5100mAh battery is unchanged from the 9a, which already delivered over 30 hours of real-world use in tests.
Satellite SOS appears on a Pixel A-series for the first time — send emergency messages via satellite when there's no cellular or Wi-Fi coverage. The camera system is carried over from the Pixel 9a — 48MP f/1.7 OIS main (1/2.0" sensor, Quad PD Dual Pixel) and 13MP 120° ultrawide — which was already among the best in its class. Google's computational photography stack — Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur, Best Take, Night Sight, Real Tone, and the full Gemini AI suite — runs on top.
Google guarantees 7 years of Android OS upgrades, security patches, and Pixel Drop feature updates through at least 2033 — the longest commitment of any Android phone at this price. Wi-Fi 6E (up from Wi-Fi 6 on the 9a) and Bluetooth 5.4 (up from 5.3) are also new. Available in Obsidian, Porcelain, Iris, and Peony. Available now at Dream Technologies T&T.
