The Acer Nitro V 16 AI ANV16-42-R309 is one of the first gaming laptops to ship with NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 5050 Blackwell GPU — the brand new RTX 50 Series architecture that brings AI Frame Generation via DLSS 4, 440 AI TOPS of GPU compute, and significantly improved performance-per-watt over the previous generation. With 8GB of the latest GDDR7 VRAM, this is a meaningful generational leap over the RTX 4050.

The processor is the AMD Ryzen 5 240 — a Copilot+ PC certified chip with up to 31 combined TOPS (including 16 NPU TOPS), built on Zen 4 architecture. This makes the Nitro V 16 AI a genuine AI PC — eligible for all Windows 11 Copilot+ AI features including Recall, live captions, image creation, and AI-accelerated workflows. Paired with 16GB of DDR5 at 5600MHz and a 512GB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD.
The display is a 16" WUXGA (1920×1200) IPS panel at 180Hz — wider than standard 16:9 with the 16:10 aspect ratio giving you extra vertical space for both gaming and productivity. At 180Hz, every frame is silky smooth. Connectivity is exceptional for the price point: USB4 at 40Gbps on the Type-C port (a feature normally reserved for premium laptops), HDMI 2.1, three USB-A ports (two at Gen 2 10Gbps), Wi-Fi 6E, and a Killer E2600 Gigabit LAN port for zero-lag wired gaming.
