The Intel Core Ultra 5 226V (Lunar Lake) is built on a fundamentally different architecture than previous Intel laptop chips. The entire SoC — CPU, GPU, NPU, and 16GB LPDDR5x-8533 RAM — are packaged together on a single module, dramatically reducing memory latency and power consumption versus a traditional chip-plus-DIMM design. The 4 Lion Cove P-cores (up to 4.5GHz) and 4 Skymont E-cores handle performance and efficiency tasks dynamically.
